Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain systems in peak operating condition and develop/update detailed preventative maintenance work instructions to prevent unplanned service interruptions.
  • •Maintain and repair HVAC support equipment (air handlers, chilled water, condenser pumps, cooling towers, valves, filters, etc.).
  • •Perform ductwork modifications and mechanical/plumbing work including brazing, soldering, evacuation/charging of refrigerants, and repairs to water piping/insulation.
  • •Assemble, install, repair, and maintain piping and drainage systems according to specifications and plumbing codes; troubleshoot and test mechanical equipment.
  • •Ensure work and materials comply with manufacturer specs and applicable building codes; complete safety inspections and resolve work tickets on SpaceX systems.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent certificate.
  • •3+ years of professional experience working with HVAC, plumbing, pneumatic, mechanical, or electrical systems.
  • •Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical safety, pneumatic principles, tubing, pipefittings, and rotating machinery (pumps/air compressors).
  • •Technical certification, journeyman, or master in HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, or electrical systems.
