Key Responsibilities

  • •Advise clients on strategies and manage prequalification, proposal/bid evaluation, bid interviews, and appointment processes.
  • •Lead estimating services by developing and reviewing project estimates, presenting estimates, value engineering recommendations, and risk assessments, and validating costs with vendors using benchmarks.
  • •Manage cost reporting through reporting schedules, cost report/forecast reviews, budget and spend forecast reviews, maintaining a commercial risk register, and hosting meetings.
  • •Manage cost control by reviewing payment application assessments, recommending contractor entitlements, assessing change order requests, and using dispute procedures to manage payment/change and contractual disputes.
  • •Oversee invoicing and final accounting activities, including post-contract audits, account close outs, and post-contract lessons-learned and handover procedures.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 100,000 - 135,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a field related to construction.
  • •Minimum 3-5 years of relevant cost management experience in the construction industry.
  • •RICS accredited or working towards it.
  • •Experience supporting cost management on medium or large sized construction projects.
  • •Construction consultancy experience is strongly preferred.
