Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and DOT inspections with follow-up repairs for light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles.
  • •Diagnose, adjust, and repair electrical, brake, cooling, steering, engine electronics, transmissions, and related systems using test instruments and road testing.
  • •Independently manage parts inventory and equipment on a company-issued service truck, including reconciliation.
  • •Maintain the service vehicle (safety checks and pre-/post-trip inspections) and comply with OSHA, EPA, and DOT requirements.
  • •Complete DOT forms and document work performed, parts used, and findings on Repair Orders using a company-issued iOS device and TRAIT application.

Key Requirements

  • •5 years of experience in a related field (or an alternative combination such as degree/certification plus 3 years).
  • •High School Diploma/GED and ability to perform moderately heavy physical labor and long periods of standing/walking.
  • •Supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform job duties.
  • •Must complete and pass DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening and DOT physical prior to employment.
  • •Required certifications: ASE T8 (PMI) and ASE 608/609 (or obtained within 18 months).
