Key Responsibilities

  • •Define the global benefits and leave philosophy and lead plan design and redesign across the US and international footprint, balancing impact, competitiveness, and cost.
  • •Grow and develop the global benefits team across the US and EMEA, setting priorities and raising the operating bar for service delivery.
  • •Set and maintain standards for benefits service response times, escalation, and follow-through, using AI and automation to reduce volume without degrading experience.
  • •Oversee the annual benefits cycle end to end (renewals, open enrollment, plan changes, carrier transitions) and lead new-country benefit launches.
  • •Oversee the global leave of absence program and manage vendors and spend, including compliance coordination with Legal and managing budget tradeoffs with Finance.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years in benefits with 3+ years leading and developing a team, ideally in a high-growth technology company.
  • •Deep US benefits expertise across health and welfare plan design, 401(k), and leave, with familiarity of ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, and state equivalents.
  • •Experience designing or administering international benefits in EMEA and/or APAC, understanding statutory minimums and practical program design.
  • •Strategic and hands-on execution—present plan design recommendations to executives and untangle operational eligibility issues.
  • •Proven vendor and broker management, including running RFPs, negotiating renewals, and holding partners accountable globally.
