Job Summary

Provide technical support to operations management for surveying, drilling and blasting, exploration, reserve evaluation, inventory management, and mine design for permitting and mine planning. Conduct inventory surveys using drone and traditional surveying, prepare phased mine plans, and use mine planning software for engineering projects and SEC documentation. Help improve costs, safety, and sustainability impacts across surface and underground mining.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide technical support to operations management across surveying, drilling and blasting, exploration, reserve evaluation, inventory management, and mine design.
•Conduct inventory surveys using drone and traditional surveying methods.
•Survey boundaries, limits, and topography for mine planning and property management.
•Prepare phased short-, medium-, and long-term mine plans for operations management.
•Use mine planning software for projects such as overburden stripping plans, reserve estimation, exploration projects, and SEC documentation.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Mine Engineering, Geology, or equivalent, with three years of related experience preferred.
•Experience with land surveying instruments and CAD, plus mine planning software experience preferred.
•Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
•Ability to develop clear, data-driven plans and present them to upper management and a wide array of audiences.
•Highly proficient communication skills and strict adherence to safety requirements and company policies.
