Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver acoustics deliverables on larger, technically challenging projects and contribute to team technical advancements.
  • •Mentor junior staff and support their professional development within the acoustics team.
  • •Engage with clients and coordinate across multidisciplinary teams to ensure acoustics deliverables meet project requirements.
  • •Navigate consent/approval routes for projects (e.g., Development Consent Order) and tailor acoustics advice accordingly.
  • •Contribute to projects across sectors such as residential, renewable energy, commercial, industrial, sports and leisure, and infrastructure.

Key Requirements

  • •A relevant degree or equivalent qualification, and corporate membership of the Institute of Acoustics (MIOA / FIOA)
  • •Demonstrable experience in environmental acoustics
  • •A high level of knowledge and skills in project management, effective communication of technical information, commercial acumen and health and safety awareness
  • •An enthusiastic, energetic outlook and willingness to learn, with a social and team spirited attitude
  • •Experience working in acoustics team environments and mentoring junior staff (preferred)
