Job Summary

Analyze, structure, underwrite, and coordinate the closing of major and complex loans while ensuring compliance with lending policies and applicable state and federal banking regulations. Partner with the Vice President, Commercial Banker and clients to assess credit needs, gather and evaluate financing information, and present requests for approval. Manage portfolio credit risk through ongoing underwriting, processing coordination, and follow-through to support bank and branch goals.

Key Responsibilities

•Analyze, structure, underwrite, and coordinate the closing of major and complex loans in line with bank lending policies and procedures.
•Work with the Vice President, Commercial Banker to monitor and identify credit risks responsibly across the loan portfolio.
•Interface with clients in person, by phone, and by email to assess credit needs and determine required analysis items.
•Gather and analyze financing information and present requests to senior management or the Loan Committee for approval.
•Coordinate processing of approved loans, obtain required documentation, and support problem-solving for loan processing and servicing in the portfolio.

Key Requirements

•Entry-level to intermediate knowledge of regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, and industry standards.
•Entry-level to intermediate knowledge of commercial credit, loan structuring, and pricing dynamics; credit analyst training completed.
