Job Summary

Founding engineer of the Data Intelligence team building the nervous system for Deepgram’s data environment. You’ll create API-based tools, semantic layers, and dbt/SQL models to enable autonomous AI agents to navigate usage-based revenue data, while collaborating with Infra/Engineering and leveraging AI-native workflows to automate and optimize data processes.

Key Responsibilities

•Semantic Layer Architecture: Build and maintain high-fidelity dbt and SQL models that serve as the ground truth for complex, usage-based revenue models.
•Agent Tooling & Integration: Develop tools and permissions frameworks that allow Analyst Agents to query Athena, correlate Salesforce churn signals, and identify API latency issues.
•Infrastructure Evolution: Serve as the technical bridge to the Engineering/Infra team to ensure data contracts are agent-ready and highly reliable.
•The "Unlock Audio Intelligence" Project: Ingest thousands of hours of internal calls using Deepgram’s models to turn unstructured audio into queryable insights for GTM teams.
•Automation Obsession: View manual, repetitive SQL tasks as automation bugs to be solved with code and agents.
