Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and mentor an offshore accounting team in Colombia, overseeing supervisors and staff with a focus on operational excellence.
  • •Coordinate month-end close and support annual audits by providing complete documentation and assisting external auditors.
  • •Ensure compliance with US GAAP, regulatory requirements, and internal financial controls.
  • •Review and approve monthly adjusting/accrual journal entries, daily cash transactions, and property acquisitions.
  • •Prepare and review monthly/quarterly financial statements and oversee lease schedules under ASC-842 and investments in associates under GAAP and partnership agreements.

Salary: USD 2,900 - 3,600 monthly

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
  • •5+ years of general accounting experience.
  • •Proven real estate industry experience, including property-level accounting.
  • •3+ years of team management and leadership experience.
  • •Deep understanding of US GAAP, financial processes, and internal controls, including advanced Excel and hands-on NetSuite experience.
