Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and drive the technical architecture and long-term direction of the browser extension platform.
  • •Lead architectural design for complex browser features, shared services, and cross-platform capabilities.
  • •Design scalable solutions using JavaScript and TypeScript, guiding patterns for secure communication across extension components and backend/native integrations.
  • •Ensure architecture decisions align with zero-knowledge and zero-trust security principles and support secure lifecycle design (e.g., background services, content scripts, messaging, storage, browser APIs).
  • •Lead architecture/design reviews and mentor senior engineers while collaborating across Engineering, Product, Security, QA, and UX teams.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of professional software engineering with true full-stack expertise across databases, backend services, APIs, infrastructure, and modern UI.
  • •Demonstrated 0-to-1 architecture experience designing and delivering complex software systems from concept through production.
  • •Strong software architecture and OO design patterns knowledge, including common Gang of Four patterns.
  • •Deep performance engineering experience, including profiling, load testing, bottleneck analysis, and real-time debugging across the stack.
  • •Experience designing scalable, highly available distributed systems and cloud-native technologies (including AWS and container/platform tooling).
