Key Responsibilities

  • •Support research using techniques including animal models of sickle cell disease and intravital imaging microscopy.
  • •Perform and assist with experiments and imaging, including experiments and imaging the brain.
  • •Carry out histology fixation, sectioning, and staining (paraffin and frozen samples) and immunohistochemistry staining.
  • •Conduct flow cytometry and handle and manage data to deliver consistent results to deadlines.
  • •Assist with experimental laboratory management, maintain accurate records, support health and safety, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and operating procedures.
