Key Responsibilities

•Suggestively upsell food and beverage items and provide exceptional guest service by anticipating needs, answering questions, taking orders, and delivering items timely.
•Maintain House of Blues safety, health, and sanitation standards and adhere to HOB policies and procedures.
•Ensure responsible alcohol service per local ordinance and HOB alcohol policies, including checking IDs and refusing service to intoxicated guests.
•Perform cash handling and payment processing using the POS terminal, including cash pull and checkout procedures.
•Follow opening, running, and closing procedures, pre-bus tables, and occasionally work special events within the venue.
