Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as a courageous safety leader and sponsor safety/environmental rules and procedures, including readiness and compliance during pre-shutdown walk-downs.
  • •Manage maintenance strategies to maintain equipment health, reliability, and protection while meeting Teck best-practice planning standards.
  • •Lead development and hand-off of the weekly maintenance schedule and track shutdown-related actions to completion.
  • •Monitor budgets by tracking expenditures and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • •Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and vendors to secure personnel, equipment, materials, and services, supporting inventory and logistics with supply chain teams.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 122,000 - 151,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 5 years of supervisory/planning experience in a metallurgical processing plant or equivalent.
  • •Recognized trade qualification or technical diploma (or equivalent).
  • •Advanced understanding of planning and scheduling principles and procedures.
  • •Computer literacy including Microsoft Office and working knowledge of a computerized maintenance management system.
  • •Must have Gr.12 or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license.
