Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered products and experiences for associates and customers.
  • •Design, develop, test, deploy, and support AI software components including foundation model training, LLM inference, agents, multi-agent workflows, similarity search, guardrails, model evaluation, experimentation, governance, and observability.
  • •Optimize foundation model performance and scalability by inventing and applying model optimization techniques to improve cost, latency, and throughput.
  • •Design and implement multi-model orchestration pipelines integrating LLMs, vector search, and domain-specific models.
  • •Lead cost-performance governance reviews and technical design councils/review boards; mentor Principal and Manager-level AI engineers to raise organizational technical maturity.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 250,800 - 286,200 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/AI or related fields plus 6+ years developing AI/ML algorithms or technologies, or a Master's plus 4+ years.
  • •6+ years programming with Python, Go, Scala, CUDA, or Java.
  • •Experience leading development AI systems and making tradeoffs around cost, latency, throughput, and accuracy.
  • •7+ years deploying scalable, responsible AI solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, or equivalent.
  • •Experience building and optimizing production AI systems (e.g., LLM inference, similarity search/vector databases, guardrails, and agentic workflows).
