Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and support Coding Fellows through regular one-on-ones and ongoing communication.
  • •Own cross-project performance management, including expectations, feedback, improvement plans, and performance reviews.
  • •Review representative work (code, pull requests, reviews, annotations, documentation, and commentary) to assess quality and development needs.
  • •Partner with project delivery teams to set expectations for Fellows, preserve context during transitions, surface blockers, and resolve conflicts fairly.
  • •Coach growth and strengthen the program by holding career conversations and using contextualized metrics to monitor quality, throughput, reliability, and retention.

Salary: USD 175,000 - 250,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of experience in software engineering, technical leadership, or related environments, including direct management of programmers or software engineers.
  • •Demonstrated experience hiring, onboarding, coaching, conducting performance reviews, delivering actionable feedback, and handling difficult conversations.
  • •Experience managing people across multiple projects, clients, teams, or changing assignments.
  • •Enough technical depth to read and discuss code and pull requests and understand core software-development practices.
  • •Strong written and verbal communication, sound judgment, discretion, empathy, and a collaborative, low-ego approach.
