Key Responsibilities

  • •In charge of discipline practices and tools tailoring and deployment across projects and products, including digitisation, automation, and data management.
  • •Drive adoption of new technologies within the mechanical engineering discipline.
  • •Ensure capitalization and sharing of knowledge and reusable assets (building blocks, cost estimating models, best practices).
  • •Manage and develop people within the discipline (skills management, coaching, career development), ensuring adequacy and allocation to bids and projects.
  • •Oversee mechanical activities with technical reviews across bids, products, and projects, and engage the team through collaborative and challenging approaches.

Key Requirements

  • •Graduate or master’s in mechanical engineering with ~20 years of industry experience in mechanical design & development.
  • •Strong technical background in mathematics, science, and computer science, with knowledge of mechanical laws, norms, and standards.
  • •Expertise with mechanical technologies and tools, methods, and processes for design and development.
  • •Proven experience with mechanical simulation and structural analysis (static, modal, shocks/vibrations) plus tests correlation and design optimization.
  • •Demonstrated desire for continuous improvement and ability to develop a strategic vision for the team’s competitiveness challenges.
