Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead or assist electrical design of power distribution infrastructure (medium/low voltage power), lightning protection, and grounding systems for DoD and mission-critical facility projects.
  • •Develop integrated controls sequences and schematics for power distribution equipment.
  • •Develop and edit specifications for power distribution equipment and electrical components, interpreting client requirements into code-compliant designs.
  • •Create and supervise development of electrical plans and details using Revit or AutoCAD, and perform power systems studies by building electrical models in SKM (or similar software).

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field with 8 years of relevant electrical power system design experience (or equivalent).
  • •US Citizenship is required due to the nature of the work.
  • •Valid US Driver's License and ability to pass AECOM's motor vehicle records review.
  • •Professional Engineer's license is preferred.
  • •Knowledge and experience with Department of Defense requirements including Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) and the National Electric Code is preferred.
