Job Summary

Lead a small team building, operating, and supporting Tonal’s core business systems and integrations. You’ll set engineering standards for design, testing, CI/CD, and documentation, own the integration and data-model roadmap, and guide the full development lifecycle from requirements to release. Serve as the primary technical escalation point for MuleSoft, Salesforce, NetSuite, and custom solutions, while driving monitoring, root-cause fixes, and measurable improvements in system reliability and quality.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and develop a team of Integrations Developers and Business System Administrators, setting technical direction and driving career development.
•Own engineering practices including code review standards, testing, CI/CD, and documentation to improve quality and maintainability.
•Own the technical roadmap for business systems, translating business requirements into integration architecture, system configuration, and data models.
•Guide the full development lifecycle from requirements analysis through design, build, testing, and release with clear diagrams and specifications.
•Serve as primary technical escalation contact for MuleSoft, Salesforce, NetSuite, and custom solutions, and drive monitoring, incident resolution, and root-cause fixes.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 175,000 - 200,000 annually

Key Requirements

•5+ years managing engineering or technical teams, ideally including Integrations Developers and/or Business Systems Administrators (Salesforce, NetSuite, or similar).
•Hands-on development or architecture experience with deep software engineering fundamentals, including back-end work in Java.
•Hands-on experience with MuleSoft (or similar iPaaS) and a track record of architecting integration solutions at scale.
•Experience with software development best practices including Agile/Scrum, CI/CD, code review, and release/change management.
•Experience establishing software quality processes in an ERP/CRM landscape, including test strategy, UAT, and automated testing (e.g., MuleSoft MUnit, Salesforce Apex test classes).
