Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead technical design and delivery for a pod/squad in an agile/DevSecOps environment, partnering with Product Owners and the Global Head of Engineering.
  • •Provide day-to-day technical direction: break down work, define approaches, unblock engineers, and ensure quality while contributing code regularly across backend, pipelines, and automation.
  • •Design and evolve loosely coupled microservices and internal platforms for secure-by-design cybersecurity use cases, including scanning tool automation and workflow/reporting services.
  • •Build and improve CI/CD pipelines to increase reliability; drive operability practices including L2/L3 troubleshooting, incident hygiene, release discipline, technical documentation, and measurable service health.
  • •Develop AI-enabled features/services for cyber workflows (e.g., triage/classification/summarisation/anomaly detection) and champion responsible AI coding tools with secure, reviewed, and tested usage guardrails.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong production experience delivering services in Python with modern web frameworks (FastAPI preferred, Flask/Django relevant).
  • •Experience designing and delivering REST APIs and integrations to third-party products and internal end-user services.
  • •Solid microservices and distributed systems experience, with hands-on Docker and Kubernetes deployments plus CI/CD engineering (e.g., Jenkins/GitLab) with automated tests and release pipelines.
  • •Strong Linux administration, core networking knowledge, and proficiency with Git/branching strategies; strong SQL skills (complex queries).
  • •Experience building AI-enabled software and using AI coding tools in a professional engineering environment with quality controls.
