Key Responsibilities

•Lead end-to-end migration strategy for on-premises SAP landscapes to Microsoft Azure, including pre-migration assessments and execution of OS/DB migrations.
•Architect Azure network and landing zones for SAP, including VNets, subnets, ExpressRoute, NSGs, and HA/DR design.
•Deploy and configure SAP VMs and Azure services such as Managed Disks, Azure NetApp Files, Azure Backup, and Azure Site Recovery (ASR).
•Manage SAP migration tooling and procedures (e.g., export/import, Software Update Manager with DMO, AnyDB to HANA, Oracle to Azure SQL/HANA).
•Perform standard SAP Basis operations and integrations, including TMS management, client copies/system refreshes, SAP Cloud Connector setup, and Entra ID SSO mapping, plus performance troubleshooting using SAP DB tools and Azure Monitor.

Key Requirements

•10+ years in SAP Basis, including 3–5 years focused on hyperscaler cloud migrations (specifically Azure).
•Lead technical architecture, planning, and execution to migrate on-premises SAP landscapes (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO) to Azure IaaS/PaaS.
•Design Azure landing zones and networking for SAP traffic (VNets, subnets, ExpressRoute, NSGs) and implement HA/DR.
•Deep proficiency in Linux (RHEL/SUSE) and Windows Server, with strong SQL/HANA administration skills.
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT (or related) and SAP/Azure certifications such as SAP System Administration or OS/DB Migration, plus Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure for SAP Workloads Specialty (AZ-120).
