Key Responsibilities

  • •Design housings, enclosures, and user-facing components for autonomous robot systems with strong aesthetics, ergonomics, and brand alignment.
  • •Create concept sketches, renderings, and 3D models to communicate design intent to stakeholders.
  • •Translate design concepts into manufacturable geometry in close collaboration with Mechanical Engineers.
  • •Collaborate across mechanical, electrical, and software teams to ensure seamless integration of internal components.
  • •Prototype and iterate (foam, 3D-printed, or CNC) to validate form, fit, user experience, and manufacturability/cost constraints.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • •Strong portfolio showing aesthetic sensibility and technical understanding of materials and manufacturing.
  • •Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks, Rhino, Fusion 360, or similar) and rendering tools (KeyShot, Blender).
  • •Solid understanding of manufacturing processes including injection molding, sheet metal, CNC, and 3D printing.
  • •Ability to bridge design and engineering and communicate design decisions to technical stakeholders.
