Key Responsibilities

  • •Float to all hatchery departments as needed to support production needs.
  • •Fill in departments including Egg Room, Embrex, Chick Processing, Sanitation, and Pull Crew.
  • •Work with varying days across the week as scheduled, including holidays and some Saturdays and Sundays.
  • •Follow daily scheduling and be able to accept duties changes or assignments with or without notice.
  • •Follow site safety policies and procedures, including required PPE and handling/disinfection environment requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Must have at least 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no employment gaps greater than 6 months in the past 36 months (18 months if laid off or providing child/elder care).
  • •Must be willing to follow biosecurity and animal welfare requirements, including showering/changing clothing and footwear before entering the facility and signing required agreements.
  • •Must be able to perform physical job requirements, including lifting/moving 50 lbs and pushing/pulling 1000–1500 lbs, with frequent standing and movement during shifts.
  • •No jewelry may be worn on the jobsite except medical ID jewelry and body piercings covered by appropriate clothing.
  • •Applicants must reside in the United States to be considered for an interview.
