Key Responsibilities

  • •Support new product development teams to ensure engineering drawing requirements are clear and communicated to supporting suppliers.
  • •Partner with New Product Introduction (NPI) teams so suppliers are involved in development and specification reviews to enable design for manufacturability.
  • •Use project management skills and quality tools to investigate alternate manufacturing processes to reduce cost or improve quality and reliability.
  • •Participate in the supplier selection process to develop a supply base focused on quality, value/cost, delivery, and technology using AI tools.
  • •Assist with quality problem resolutions and incident management, including work with special process suppliers (e.g., cleaning, plating, anodization, surface treatments, coatings).

Key Requirements

  • •University degree preferred in Industrial Engineering, Mechanics, Chemistry, or Materials.
  • •Basic knowledge in mechanics and treatments, and industrial processes.
  • •Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • •Functional knowledge demonstrating conceptual understanding of discipline theories, practices, and procedures.
  • •Uses existing procedures to solve standard problems and make judgments from information and standard practices.
