Responsibilities include reviewing plans, mentoring junior estimators, guiding SOX controls where applicable, and communicating with clients and contractors to ensure accurate, timely estimates.

Key Responsibilities

•Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for electrical systems in construction projects.
•Review project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work and required materials.
•Lead the development of comprehensive cost management plans with project teams.
•Analyze project requirements and provide value engineering options.
•Perform cost risk analysis and provide input into value engineering.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or field related to construction.
•Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience.
•Experience in a construction cost management role such as Cost Manager, Quantity Surveyor, Estimator, Cost Engineer, Project Engineer, Project Cost Controls etc.
•Experience providing conceptual estimating services and/or pre-construction services at a construction management or related firm.
•Experience supporting large scale construction projects and programs.
