Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare and release operational flight plans (OFPs) and calculate fuel requirements, payload limitations, and performance parameters.
  • •Prepare and file ATS flight plans in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • •Monitor flights in real time and provide operational support, including communicating significant changes to flight crews.
  • •Analyse weather reports, NOTAMs, airport conditions, and airspace restrictions to assess operational risks and recommend alternates during disruptions.
  • •Maintain compliance with GCAA regulations and support emergency response activities per Etihad’s plans and Safety Management System.

Key Requirements

  • •Valid Flight Dispatcher Licence.
  • •Minimum age of 21 years.
  • •Fluent spoken and written English.
  • •3+ years of experience in a Flight Dispatch role (and 5+ years within airline operations).
  • •Strong flight planning/operational control knowledge, including interpreting METARs, TAFs, SIGMETs, and NOTAMs and using flight planning systems such as Lido Flight Planning and AIMS.
