Key Responsibilities

  • •Forecast and communicate engineering, materials, and manufacturing requirements to suppliers, including make-vs-buy inputs and demand coordination through MRP to minimize inventory exposure.
  • •Coordinate Materials Core Team activities and product development deliverables via matrix management of buyers, planners, and production control.
  • •Create, release, and update new project materials strategy under some supervision.
  • •Assist with supplier sourcing activities including price/delivery negotiations, supplier selection and assessment, supplier risk assessment, and supplier performance monitoring.
  • •Manage materials change control, meet cost objectives, resolve supplier quality issues, generate Key Process Indicators, and track total landed cost targets; execute commercialization materials transition plan.
