Job Summary

Own manual testing for banking and financial applications within the BFSI domain. You’ll analyze requirements, create and execute test cases and scripts, and perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing. Validate interfaces and workflows, manage defects in tools like JIRA/Azure DevOps/ALM/Quality Center, and collaborate with business analysts, developers, and product owners to support UAT and production validation.

Key Responsibilities

•Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories to derive test needs.
•Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts from requirements.
•Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end testing, including UAT support.
•Validate banking and financial applications, interfaces, and workflows.
•Identify, log, track, and retest defects using defect management tools, and provide quality/status updates.

Key Requirements

•4 to 6 years of manual testing experience in software testing.
•Strong understanding of STLC and SDLC, including functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing.
•Experience preparing test cases, executing tests, and managing defects.
•Hands-on knowledge of BFSI business processes and applications.
•Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, ALM, or Quality Center.
