Lead and grow GQ Recommends by writing, assigning, editing, and publishing daily commerce content across grooming, wellness, fitness, and lifestyle. Own content strategy and quality, partner with SEO to optimize for search, newsletter, and social, and build growth plans to maximize performance metrics like CTR, AOV, and ARPU. Manage editors and freelance writers/producers, oversee budgets, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and merchant partners on shoppable, multi-modal formats.

•Manage toward brand-level revenue targets and margin, using performance against goals to direct content strategy and resources.
•Oversee day-to-day management of staff, freelance writers, and producers, including hiring, coaching, and performance management.
•Pitch, write, edit, and update seasonal shopping guides, roundups, and single-item features across commerce categories.
•Partner with SEO to implement best practices and optimize content for search, newsletter, and social.
•Build growth strategies across search, email, social, creator, and direct, and experiment with new multi-modal formats to keep shopping content fresh.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 90,000 - 100,000 annually

Key Requirements

•6-7 years of editing experience in a digital media environment, with a background in service journalism and product recommendations preferred.
•Familiarity with affiliate platforms and programs (i.e., Skimlinks and Amazon).
•Strong understanding of web analytics, SEO, and commerce best practices.
•Proven experience managing editorial staffers and providing performance feedback.
•Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills in a fast-paced environment.
