Key Responsibilities

•Support preparation of high-quality, commercially astute bids and tenders for ecological services, particularly in energy, transport, and water sectors.
•Plan, schedule, and organize all phases of ecological project work to ensure resources, budgets, and controls meet programme and budget requirements.
•Support delivery of high-quality ecological consultancy and advisory services to internal and external clients, including check and review processes.
•Develop technically robust and pragmatic solutions to complex ecological issues.
•Produce ecology chapters for environmental statements and protected species licence applications; author or technically check project deliverables to ensure quality outputs.

Key Requirements

•Demonstratable experience planning and delivering ecological services on UK or Ireland projects.
•Well-developed understanding of relevant wildlife conservation.
•Membership of an appropriate professional institution and evidence of working towards Chartership (e.g., CIEEM or related).
•Excellent field skills in at least one specialist area, including protected species licences.
•A proactive approach to Health and Safety, with experience mentoring and supporting ecology team members.
