Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Understand NEC objectives and the operation of NEC contract particulars.
  • •Plan and manage project teams to deliver integrated, sustainable solutions on time, on budget, and to industry standards.
  • •Lead, establish, manage, and administer impartial NEC PSC and/or ECC contracts, ensuring client/user requirements and approvals are in place.
  • •Advise on procurement and contract strategies; provide estimates for costs and time; review contractor proposals and raise early warnings for delays and compensation events.
  • •Report project performance using project controls tools (including earned value and quantitative risk analysis) and support testing, commissioning, handover, and post-project reviews/benefits realisation.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a relevant third level qualification, preferably in Engineering or a related project management discipline.
  • •Minimum 5 years’ experience managing large or multiple infrastructure/capital projects and teams.
  • •Knowledge and experience of project and contract management, including major contract forms such as NEC3, NEC4, FIDIC, or similar.
  • •Proven ability to implement and execute programmes, drive performance, and mobilise/manage the supply chain across design, planning, and construction services.
  • •Chartered/qualified with APM, ICE, RICS etc., and right to work in Ireland and UK.
