Job Summary

Join the Honeywell team at the Darwin Correctional facility as a customer-facing Security Technician. You’ll assess customers’ security requirements, then design and support tailored solutions focused on Electronic Access Control Systems (EACS), CCTV, and alarm systems. Collaborate with the Field Service Supervisor to ensure delivery success, provide product and service expertise for purchasing decisions, and service, configure, diagnose faults, and repair security systems hardware and software.

Key Responsibilities

•Engage with customers to assess security requirements and identify suitable solutions.
•Generate tailored solutions with a focus on Electronic Access Control Systems (EACS), CCTV, and alarm systems.
•Collaborate with the Field Service Supervisor to ensure customer satisfaction and delivery success.
•Provide expert knowledge of products and services to guide customers’ purchasing decisions.
•Service and maintain Honeywell and third-party equipment, including configuration, fault diagnosis, and repairs.

Key Requirements

•Experience as a Security Technician or Electrician.
•Ability to understand and explain electronic security systems to clients (training provided).
•Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
•Self-motivated and able to work independently without supervision.
•EWP licence.
