Key Responsibilities

  • •Occupy client or service roles involving sponsorship and/or strategic requirements for major projects, programmes, and portfolios.
  • •Manage client relationships and identify and realise business development opportunities.
  • •Lead or contribute to preparation of bid proposals and manage key bids.
  • •Define strategic direction and success criteria, translating client and business needs into scope and requirements and holding delivery teams accountable.
  • •Provide governance, assurance, compliance, risk and change oversight, and drive efficiencies through innovative approaches to support affordability and value for money.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in a sponsorship role for large-scale infrastructure or capital delivery programmes, portfolios, or as part of a transformative organisation in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • •Degree-level education, membership of a relevant professional body, or equivalent professional experience.
  • •Extensive knowledge of the project lifecycle, including business case development and mapping benefits and outcomes to define project requirements.
  • •Experience navigating planning, regulatory, political and environmental constraints, with strong commercial acumen for investment planning and contractual/commercial negotiations.
  • •Experience managing risks, schedule, funding, resources, and delivery performance while balancing conflicting priorities.
