Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the Carbon and Net Zero discipline within Sustainability Advisory GCC by setting priorities for delivery, capability, and growth.
  • •Maintain personal contribution to chargeable delivery while managing team workload, resource planning, and forward pipeline to improve utilisation.
  • •Provide technical leadership and quality assurance across GHG accounting and carbon management, including preparing and reviewing carbon models and client deliverables.
  • •Lead multidisciplinary projects from scoping through delivery, managing programme, budget, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.
  • •Develop the pipeline and support bids and proposals to grow Carbon and Net Zero services across WSP business units and geographies.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of relevant experience in carbon management, net zero, climate change, decarbonisation, sustainability, or a related field.
  • •A relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in sustainability, environmental science, engineering, energy, climate change, or a related discipline.
  • •Experience leading carbon and net zero projects, technical workstreams, and multidisciplinary teams in a consultancy or similar environment.
  • •Strong technical knowledge of GHG accounting and carbon management, including areas such as net zero strategy and whole-life carbon.
  • •Demonstrated project and commercial management capability, including scoping, budgeting, resource planning, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
