Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the end-to-end apparel development process for assigned products, ensuring product integrity, engineering decisions, and on-time completion per the corporate calendar.
  • •Manage fit approval and size specification, lead fitting meetings, and decide on workmanship and construction.
  • •Drive technical solutions by analyzing designs for manufacturability, production and material properties; manage handover of design packs to T1.
  • •Lead and drive basic pattern engineering (2D and 3D), including selection, grading rules, new model pattern creation, and consolidation across creation centers.
  • •Support quality and process escalations, review costing information, ensure testing and sign-offs for samples, update product data systems, and mentor junior team members.

Key Requirements

  • •Technical college/fashion school/university degree in pattern making/grading or “Meisterbrief” (or equivalent).
  • •Minimum 2 years of related work experience in apparel pattern engineering.
  • •Advanced knowledge of pattern creation and grading, apparel construction, and material properties related to fit.
  • •Advanced skills in Gerber (or similar CAD programs) and knowledge of 3D programs such as CLO 3D.
  • •Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects under tight deadlines while working independently and presenting/training others.
