Key Responsibilities

  • •Design QA and test processes for subsystems across applications, systems software, and firmware on various platform types.
  • •Analyze designs to determine test scripts, automation, and integration activities needed based on product architecture.
  • •Write and execute testing plans, protocols, and documentation for assigned portions of the application.
  • •Identify, debug, and resolve issues with code and integration into software and firmware architecture.
  • •Lead QA efforts for assigned portions and collaborate with developers and stakeholders on test status, progress, and issue resolution; mentor less-experienced staff.

Key Requirements

  • •4-year/graduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • •4-7 years of work experience, preferably in software quality assurance and test harnesses/QA-focused tools.
  • •Experience designing QA and test processes for end-user applications, systems software, and firmware across hardware and networked/Internet-based platforms.
  • •Ability to analyze designs, determine required test scripts, coding, automation, and integration activities based on overall product architecture.
  • •Strong test planning skills, including writing and executing testing plans/protocols/documentation for assigned portions of an application.
