Key Responsibilities

•Develop detailed designs and calculations for water, sanitary, storm, and drainage infrastructure in accordance with municipal and provincial standards.
•Prepare engineering drawings, design reports, technical memos, and cost estimates.
•Support preparation of tender documents, including specifications and quantities.
•Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and provide construction support during project execution.
•Coordinate with internal disciplines (survey, geotechnical, environmental) and external stakeholders (municipal staff, utility companies, contractors).

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 82,000 - 125,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and registration as P.Eng with a recognized Provincial engineering association
•Registered as a Professional Engineer within Canada
•4+ years of experience in municipal engineering, preferably in a consulting environment
•Experience with underground infrastructure design (water, sanitary, storm, drainage)
•Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other civil design platforms
