Key Responsibilities

  • •Receive, pay out, and process cash and negotiable items, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments.
  • •Set up, close, and balance the teller station, including recording sales of monetary instruments.
  • •Assist customers with inquiries in person or by telephone and ensure neat, well-stocked teller area maintenance.
  • •Safeguard bank assets by following account protection limits, safety and soundness procedures, and adhering to policies and procedures.
  • •Cross-sell bank products and services and complete required BSA/AML and other compliance training as assigned.

Key Requirements

  • •Equivalent to four years high school or GED, with 0 to 6 months related experience and/or training.
  • •Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to customer questions in person and by telephone.
  • •Basic math skills, including ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide money figures; must be able to use 10-key.
  • •Ability to use common sense to carry out simple multi-step instructions and handle standardized situations with limited variables.
  • •Cash handling experience in a business environment and ability to maintain a positive, friendly, professional attitude.
