Job Summary

Operate ready-mix trucks safely to deliver sand, rock, ready-mixed concrete, asphalt, and related construction products to commercial and residential job sites. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, maintain equipment in safe and clean condition, and verify mix specifications after loading and at the site. Align and operate the mixer drum and chutes for unloading, clean trucks after delivery, and complete other duties as directed by the supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate ready-mix trucks safely in the plant yard, on public roads/highways, and at job sites to deliver products.
•Maintain equipment in a safe and clean condition and perform pre- and post-trip truck inspections.
•Verify mix specifications after loading and at the job site.
•Drive the ready-mix truck to the unloading location and operate the truck to release concrete through the chute.
•Clean the truck after delivery and place/operate chutes to deliver product where directed.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED preferred.
•One to two years of related experience and/or training (or equivalent education and experience).
•Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos, and write simple correspondence.
•Ability to perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide) using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
•Must possess a valid state commercial driver’s license (CDL) Class A or Class B and a valid Medical Card as per DOT standard.
