Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate ready-mix trucks safely in the plant yard, on public roads/highways, and at job sites to deliver products.
  • •Maintain equipment in a safe and clean condition and perform pre- and post-trip truck inspections.
  • •Verify mix specifications after loading and at the job site.
  • •Drive the ready-mix truck to the unloading location and operate the truck to release concrete through the chute.
  • •Clean the truck after delivery and place/operate chutes to deliver product where directed.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • •One to two years of related experience and/or training (or equivalent education and experience).
  • •Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos, and write simple correspondence.
  • •Ability to perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide) using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • •Must possess a valid state commercial driver’s license (CDL) Class A or Class B and a valid Medical Card as per DOT standard.
