Key Responsibilities

  • •Own and drive documentation for one or more product areas as an embedded technical writer within product teams.
  • •Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to keep documentation accurate, timely, and aligned with the product roadmap.
  • •Develop subject matter expertise in assigned product areas and create documentation reflecting real-world usage and developer needs.
  • •Lead documentation efforts from concept through release, including planning, writing, reviewing, and ongoing maintenance.
  • •Maintain and improve the documentation site’s technical infrastructure, including build tooling, deployment pipelines, and Docusaurus configuration.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of technical writing experience with a portfolio of developer-focused content (user guides, installation guides, API references, tutorials, technical blog posts).
  • •Hands-on experience with Java, Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, and the ability to understand, use, and test complex technical products (ideally Camunda 8 or similar).
  • •Experience documenting both on-premise installations and SaaS environments.
  • •Ability to tailor documentation for diverse technical audiences including engineers and application developers.
  • •Experience with docs-as-code workflows and documentation frameworks such as Docusaurus, using AI, Git, and Markdown.
