Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead medium-sized project teams or sub-projects in a heterogeneous multi-project customer environment for Bundeswehr, security authorities, or defence industry partners.
  • •Plan and lead project execution through completion after bid handover, ensuring compliance with customer execution requirements (V-Modell XT) and Atos standards (Rainbow Prozess, Global Delivery Platform, OPS DI).
  • •Own responsibility for costs and for improving revenue and margin, including internal/external reporting aligned to governance structures and customer bodies.
  • •Direct and control performance-delivering units, partners, subcontractors, and assigned personnel; coordinate sub-project leaders and serve as escalation point for internal and executive levels.
  • •Actively manage change and claims, document open items, drive clarifications and decisions, and ensure project management processes and methods are followed by sub-project leaders.

Key Requirements

  • •Long-standing experience as a Senior Project Manager in a multi-project environment, with corresponding certification.
  • •Successful university degree (e.g., Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Informatics) or comparable field.
  • •Experience with system integration, migration and rollout and/or software development, including knowledge of architecture approaches (especially cloud architectures).
  • •Very good German language skills and negotiation-level English skills.
  • •Readiness for national/international business travel.
