Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the receiving owner for new and revised processes, tooling, and workflows transferred from Engineering, qualifying each handoff against acceptance criteria before steady-state production.
  • •Supervise, schedule, and develop a team of engineering technicians; set daily priorities, manage qualification and cross-training, and build depth across process areas.
  • •Own yield and scrap reporting for assigned process areas, track yield by tool/lot/shift/defect mode, and drive containment and corrective action while reporting performance trends.
  • •Own SOPs, work instructions, travelers, and process specifications for assigned areas; author and revise documentation under ISO 9001 standards and enforce change control and training records.
  • •Lead structured continuous improvement using data (cycle time reduction, scrap reduction, ergonomic/layout changes, 5S and Lean) and ensure safe process design with hazard review and EHS enforcement.

  • •Own process handoff and acceptance criteria from engineering to steady-state production, including documentation completion, operator training, tooling verification, and run-rate demonstration.
  • •Supervise, schedule, and develop a team of engineering technicians, setting daily priorities and managing qualification and cross-training.
  • •Own yield and scrap reporting for assigned process areas, using data to identify statistically meaningful excursions and drive containment and corrective actions.
  • •Author and maintain SOPs, work instructions, travelers, and process specifications under ISO 9001 standards with controlled revision levels and current training records.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Materials, or related) with 3+ years manufacturing experience, or equivalent training with 6+ years progressively responsible manufacturing engineering/advanced technician experience; semiconductor/cleanroom/vacuum/high-temperature experience strongly preferred.
