Job Summary

Join a global People team as a People Operations Generalist supporting India operations. You’ll own day-to-day HR operations, maintain data integrity across HR systems, partner with HRBPs, TA, IT and Payroll to scale programs globally, and drive audits and reporting to enable a seamless, compliant employee experience across Chennai.

Key Responsibilities

•Own day-to-day HR operations including onboarding/offboarding, benefits administration for India, support payroll inquiries, immigration coordination, and intranet maintenance.
•Serve as a trusted first point of contact for employee inquiries — responding promptly, troubleshooting effectively, and escalating when needed through the ticketing system (e.g., JIRA, Serval).
•Partner with Talent Acquisition, IT, Payroll, and HRBPs to deliver a seamless, red-carpet experience at every touchpoint of the employee lifecycle.
•Respond to employment verification requests and manage related documentation with accuracy and timeliness.
•Conduct periodic compliance and benefits audits; identify gaps and recommend process improvements.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience in HR operations or a generalist HR role.
•Hands-on experience with Workday (including HCM, reporting, and data management).
•Strong working knowledge of Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms).
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messages to audiences.
•Proven ability to handle sensitive, confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
