Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as a safety leader by adhering to and sponsoring safety, environmental, and social rules and procedures.
  • •Lead metallurgical test work programs and advance geometallurgical understanding.
  • •Conduct metallurgical analysis and interpret results using geological context to build integrated geometallurgical performance models.
  • •Develop process design criteria for new project flow sheets and coordinate metallurgical project activities within scope, schedule, and budget.
  • •Support EPCM firms as the owner’s metallurgical process representative and provide technical support through construction, implementation, commissioning, and start-up.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 122,000 - 150,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.), or eligible for registration, with 8–10 years of relevant metallurgical engineering experience.
  • •Strong technical expertise in processing base and precious metal ores, including modern mineral processing technologies and plant design.
  • •Construction, commissioning, and field experience supporting mining and mineral processing projects.
  • •Ability to evaluate metallurgical test programs and process designs, supported by strong technical writing, reporting, and presentation skills.
  • •Proficiency with AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook (Spanish is an asset).
