Job Summary

Lead management and delivery of archaeology projects in the South East, primarily fieldwork, combining high-level technical archaeology knowledge with commercial acumen. Based in Cambridge or Bristol, you will plan, secure consent, design methodologies, manage subcontractors, liaise with stakeholders, and contribute to business development while ensuring health and safety and public inquiry readiness.

Key Responsibilities

•Monitor and supervise fieldwork subcontractors on-site and in technical review of deliverables, including RAMS.
•Prepare competitive tenders and design scope/methodology for archaeological fieldwork aligned with health and safety protocols.
•Contribute to archaeological desk-based assessments.
•Undertake stakeholder, curator and client liaison.
•Lead fieldwork projects from planning and consent to delivery of bespoke strategies for developments and infrastructure.
