Job Summary

Support the Quality Team on QC activities for a large T2 baggage handling site with thousands of assets. Partner with the Lead Quality Engineer and provide cover for the Quality Manager, including generating non-conformity reports, managing defect registers, and ensuring installations meet BUK installation standards. Perform internal/external audits, witness supplier FATs, update RQM for mechanical/electrical/steelwork, and compile quality reporting with liaison across clients and site teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Update the QA Manager for the project and support QC activities across the installation.
•Generate and progress Non-Conformity Reports (NCR) and monitor compliance against BUK installation standards.
•Manage BUK level 6 inspections, including updates to RQM for mechanical, electrical, and steelwork.
•Perform internal and external audits, and visit suppliers to witness FATs/progress investigations.
•Act as liaison between client, site team, and suppliers; manage defect registers and collate/submit quality reports.

Key Requirements

•Electrical background preferably in a baggage handling environment.
•HNC minimum in Electrical/Electronics field or Quality.
•At least 2 years’ experience in quality assessments.
•Knowledge of ISO 9001:2008 or 2015.
•Proficient with MS Office and experience with SharePoint and RQM.
