Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and develop a high-performing team of Account Executives across US and Canada public sector markets.
  • •Drive execution of customer migrations to Atlassian Government Cloud (FedRAMP Moderate) and navigate public-sector procurement complexities, including option years and multi-year contracting.
  • •Serve as senior account leadership voice for the region, setting direction and orchestrating go-to-market with Channel Partners, Solutions Engineers, Customer Success, and cross-functional teams.
  • •Act as liaison between Atlassian product/engineering executives and customers to shape roadmap priorities and elevate customer experience across both countries.
  • •Own business outcomes including forecasting accuracy, pipeline health, renewal leadership, and enabling AEs to focus on growth.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of enterprise software sales experience in the public sector, with a proven track record leading high-performing AE teams across US Federal/State & Local and/or Canadian government markets.
  • •Experience managing and developing distributed sales teams, including hiring, coaching, forecasting, and performance management.
  • •Strong relationships with government agencies, solutions partners, channel partners, and resellers across US and Canadian public sector ecosystems.
  • •Deep knowledge of government contracts and procurement vehicles, including multi-year contracting, option years, and Canadian federal/provincial procurement frameworks.
  • •Ability to drive complex migrations from on-premise end-of-life to cloud/SaaS, and lead executive engagement and strategic account planning at C-suite and agency leadership levels.
