Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead technical investigations into customer-reported quality concerns and determine validated failure mechanisms using returned components, vehicle data, service findings, and laboratory test results.
  • •Perform component inspections, teardown analysis, dimensional measurements, material evaluations, and functional assessments to identify failure origins and contributing factors.
  • •Develop and execute structured test plans that reproduce field failures, validate hypotheses, and confirm the effectiveness of corrective actions.
  • •Build clear, evidence-based technical cases combining laboratory findings, engineering data, vehicle diagnostics, manufacturing records, supplier information, and field performance data.
  • •Partner cross-functionally to move investigations from issue identification through validated resolution and create repeatable failure-analysis procedures, test methods, and lessons learned.

Key Requirements

  • •5 years of experience in failure analysis, field quality, warranty engineering, product engineering, reliability engineering, laboratory testing, validation engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • •BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Materials Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • •Experience leading structured root cause investigations involving mechanical, electrical, electronic, software-integrated, or electromechanical systems.
  • •Hands-on experience performing component inspections, teardown analysis, failure reproduction, and engineering validation testing.
  • •Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently to perform essential duties.
