Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform inspections and diagnostics on GSE and MHE during turn-in processing.
  • •Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance per Army standards, repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • •Troubleshoot faults using Army-approved diagnostic tools and service/repair equipment to a serviceable state when authorized.
  • •Record maintenance and inspection results using DA Form 2404/5988-E and update condition codes (A–H) and maintenance records in GCSS-Army.
  • •Follow OSHA/Army/company safety policies, handle hazardous materials safely, and coordinate with Supply Technicians and Material Coordinators to verify turn-in readiness.

Salary: USD 36.79 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •3–5 years of hands-on experience maintaining GSE or MHE in an Army or contractor environment.
  • •Familiarity with Army maintenance standards, technical manuals (TMs), and property accountability requirements.
  • •Ability to perform preventive maintenance checks and services (PMCS) for GSE/MHE.
  • •Proficiency with Army logistics systems such as GCSS-Army and condition code classification.
  • •High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical certification in mechanical or electrical maintenance is a plus.
