Key Responsibilities

•Architect Borrowing’s data layer at scale, partnering across Analytics Engineering, Product, Engineering, Credit, and Data Platform to structure 1,700+ models across 12+ products and establish shared patterns for scalable data products.
•Design and govern data products by defining production-grade datasets with ownership, SLAs, documentation, and interfaces for analytics, ML, decisioning, and regulatory needs.
•Build feature stores and reusable analytical assets by identifying cross-product signals and designing a versioned feature layer powering models, dashboards, and decisions.
•Scale analytics engineering infrastructure by shaping tooling, patterns, and developer experiences to improve productivity across an 80+ person organization, in collaboration with Data Platform.
•Drive cross-product data consistency as the organization expands geographically and across products, defining shared conventions and abstractions to reason about Borrowing as a holistic domain.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 121,600 - 164,600 annually

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience designing data architectures that span multiple products or domains
•Experience building data products that are governed, documented, versioned, and trusted (SLAs, contracts, interfaces)
•Fluency with analytics engineering systems and infrastructure (dbt, BigQuery or equivalent, CI/CD for data)
•Ability to design reusable feature layers serving multiple consumers (ML pipelines, dashboards, decisioning, regulatory reporting)
•Comfort working at the platform boundary and partnering with Data Platform engineers on ingestion, streaming, and schema evolution
