Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead World Relief’s finance compliance function, ensuring adherence to Uniform Guidance, GAAP, donor requirements, certification standards, and organizational policies.
  • •Develop and execute a risk-based internal audit philosophy and annual audit plan, supervising internal audit staff and overseeing audits and investigations across offices.
  • •Coordinate corrective action follow-up with root-cause analysis, owners, timelines, coaching needs, and system/process enhancements to return offices to compliance.
  • •Lead development and maintenance of finance policies and procedures, aligning them with systems of record and partnering with system owners for coherent workflows and documentation.
  • •Oversee finance systems documentation (including SharePoint governance) and support grant fund, project, and FQA setup processes in Cyrus; deliver compliance and audit-readiness training.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 90,000 - 100,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Four-year degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
  • •CPA, MBA, or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) is preferred.
  • •2–5 years of accounting experience with strong knowledge of accounting cycle management, financial statements and analysis, and the financial audit process.
  • •Knowledge of federal grant regulations, including Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200), and audit standards (GAAS, GAGAS).
  • •Demonstrated ability to supervise, coach, and develop internal audit staff and manage cross-functional audit or compliance projects.
